Dear Reader of Science Fiction Novels,
Don’t you love starting things without ever finishing them? This happens to me all the time, and my writing attempts are no exception — after eight false starts I yet have to write and publish my first science fiction novel. I did one of those online quizzes the other day, “How ADD Are You?” or something similar, and scored 100%. This explains a lot… Look, SQUIRREL!
I did actually finish my third first science fiction novel (a short one, 61,819 words), but when I re-read it, I despised it. Nope, that one is NOT going to see the daylight, or the lamplight, or the Kindle light, or any other kind of light my Readers might choose. I do, however, like the premise of its eighteenth chapter. After a lot of rework, it will become the starting point of my ninth first science fiction novel that I’m about to begin right after I publish this post. (more…)
